Creamy Herb Pasta

Someone told me about this recipe during a cooking class. It’s stuck with me, definitely qualifies as another Trader Joe’s hack. It’s summery, light with a bit of richness and would pair well with grilled salmon.

A mix of herbs from Trader Joe’s such as parsley, sage, chives, mint and thyme – or herbs from the Farmer’s Market, minced or food chopped. Three-fourths of a cup.

For The Cream – Real Cream, or Organic Half and Half, or Vegan Cream consisting of Coconut Milk blended with mustard (1 can of full fat Coconut milk blended with a tablespoon of mustard) – 1 Cup

Pasta – A Fettucine noodle would be great. Fusilli pictured here. 2 Cups

Salt & Pepper

Mince herbs or food chop them in a blender and add cream on pasta for a dinner main or a side. Herbs from, where else, Trader Joe’s, here. A mix of Farmer’s Market herbs even better. Three fourths of a cup of minced herbs for two cups of pasta.

Some adds for more flavor:  don’t forget the salt and pepper, garlic powder, mustard powder - and a little goat cheese or Pecorino Romano for more heft.

Use the leftover parsley, sage, chives, mint and thyme for broiled and grilled meats and drinks.
