Roasted a chicken in mole sauce then made stock from the bones.  Sauteed well chopped cauliflower, kale, scallions, onions, tomatoes and anything else in the house with olive oil. Sauteed to meld, with about a tablespoon of mole rojo sauce and a cube of garlic, to make a sofrito, of sorts. Then, added stock and some bite-sized pieces of chicken. Reduced for no longer than 45 minutes. Add water if need be. Que Rico

Oh, the different lives we could have. Nora Seed's life in Bedford, England is as mid as it can get. But it didn't have to be. In despair, she gets to visit each of her life possibilities at The Midnight Library under the guidance of Mrs. Elm. The author lends a light touch to heavy philosophical matters, such as quantum physics, and to Nora's possible lives. A fable thoroughly worth reading though simplified. Matt Haig seems to be Britain’s answer to Paulo Coelho.  Reminiscent of The Devil and Miss Prym, a favorite of Paulo Coelho's fables. The two books together would make a great compare and contrast.

A bonkers thriller that is convoluted and anxiety-inducing. The disruptive global economy as horror story through the actions of a young, ‘tryna be posh British couple that make deluded, amateur decisions, together and separately, at every turn. Interesting how the author integrated a genuine criminal kingpin into the plot. The criminal justice system, hypocrisy, grants for the arts, global finance, weird weather, unethical tourism, aviation and diving. The couple:   dumb as a box of rocks.  I read it frantically.😂 If actresses need to create their own parts now, this actress gets an A .
