The Midnight Library – Matt Haig

Oh, the different lives we could have. Nora Seed's life in Bedford, England is as mid as it can get. But it didn't have to be. In despair, she gets to visit each of her life possibilities at The Midnight Library under the guidance of Mrs. Elm. The author lends a light touch to heavy philosophical matters, such as quantum physics, and to Nora's possible lives. A fable thoroughly worth reading though simplified.

Matt Haig seems to be Britain’s answer to Paulo Coelho.  Reminiscent of The Devil and Miss Prym, a favorite of Paulo Coelho's fables. The two books together would make a great compare and contrast.
