Macy’s Flower Show 2026 Thu. April 23-Sun. May 10

I don’t care how bougey it is, I love the Macys Flower Show.  This year’s show harkens back to Social Studies Class remembrances, featured are over-sized dolls of women settlers who harvested America, along with sets of plants from different regions of the country.   A hardcore flowerista (not me) would note, legitimately, the amount of synthetic flowers that dominated the displays, but there was a patchwork theme that was about sewing, rather than the flowers, that somewhat supported it.   There was a map of the United States in flowers.   The United States of Flowers.   More wayfinding than usual with the sets of regional flowers.   A wall display with each state flower under a flower awning was on point.
