Outlawed – Anna North

Audacious and imaginative.  No need to wish for this novel to become a series because A24 is already developing it with A Listers.

Introduction to Fermentation: Asian Inspired Flavors 🫙

Image
@iceculinary  We used Klemon Fermentation Kits to take home to complete these preparations.   The health benefits of fermented foods has been a focus in recent years.   You can talk about the healthy but it’s the delicious – they add a boost to a variety of dishes.   They ferment inspiration:   the Mango will be great with fish and Asian bowls, the Apple on a melted cheddar sandwich or with Indian rice and curry, the Cauliflower will pair well with hummus, the Carrot will make for a loaded, Asian-inspired Caesar salad. That’s what I’m going to do with them, should they thrive. “Everything needs to live.” To loose quote the chef instructor, who has a lab at ICE, which is as cool As Fermentation.

Opportunity becomes a slippery creature as the light leaves us for the dark. “Where the one ends and the other begins,” Poe wrote. Taking an extended break through the holidays with limited social media posting. See ya soon!
