😊 Reselling Graphic Tees and Sweatshirts

There’s literally hundreds of dollars in reselling clothes part-time. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Watch me scale up just a bit this year.

Didn’t think much of reselling graphic tees until I saw some resellers sweep into a local thrift store and buy every graphic in sight. They found a Star Wars tee shirt!  Not an original one for sure but the general idea is that graphics sell.

It’s also an example of selling something that I don’t wear personally, as a general rule, but can envision on others.  When you can envision an item on others, you can sell that item. Take this Urban Revivo sweatshirt, why it’s appealing: it’s hardly worn, the graphic on the sweatshirt is perfectly intact with no cracking or fading, the gold color is retro. It’s an oversized, comfy size small. The message is cheeky without being offensive. For festival season, hiking or studying in the library.

A google revealed that the Urban Revivo brand seems to be China’s version of the fast fashion giant, Zara. Comparables online show that this item would retail for around $35.00 or more. Another reason why this graphic sweatshirt will be another successful quick flip.

One Day Barista Training at the New Jersey Coffee School

Such a special experience and a reminder that most of the time, it’s later than you think.  New Jersey Coffee School at the Monroe Center is closing in Hoboken after a 3-year run. They are now offering on-site training to their hospitality clientele, still a successful business, but no longer serving as a stand-alone training space. I enrolled in Day One of their 3-Day Barista training just before the closing was announced. I have probably done “the 10,000 hours” in food but my experience in beverages is limited.   Specifically, I am looking to purchase an at home espresso maker and taking the class provided me with an overview of the equipment. Coffee’s definitely got its fix on us.   I gained a better understanding of the history of coffee, farming, and the coffee production process, from bean to first sip. Jamie Oliver-Inspired Purslane Pesto

Based on yet another cookin’ Jamie’s recipe: Jamie Oliver’s Purslane Pesto. It’s good — earthy, bright, and absolutely worth a switch‑up from basil pesto. Watch that garlic! Ingredients 2 cups purslane leaves (just the leaves, not the stems) ¾ cup Parmesan cheese (like Trader Joe’s Shaved Parmesan, Romano & Asiago Cheeses) 1 cup roasted, salted pistachios (I use TJs Dry Roasted & Salted Pistachios) ¾ cup good‑quality olive oil.
