Thoroughly enjoyable, been getting some deserved buzz, filled with magic realism through the lens of women’s relationship to nature. Neat hat trick here, the author manages time travel writing about three related women through the ages. Watch the crows, who tell their own story throughout the plot.
Part of the
story somewhat resembles Lucy Jago’s fantastic historical fiction novel, A Net
for Small Fishes.
