Stretched my drugstore budget and purchased this makeup during Sephora’s Christmas sale.

A clean, well, cleaner makeup brand that’s Vegan, EU-compliant and Cruelty-Free.  What’s more, minimalist ethos and friendly to older women. I am starting with Merit Beauty, which has become the in-with-the-new, as I throw out the out-with-the-old. The goal is to move to as few makeup products as possible. Merit will help me with creamy formulations and multi-use. The foundation is also an undereye concealer, the blush can be used as eyeshadow. Sephora color matched the foundation using a cell phone camera, new to me.

Matched the purchase with a clean out of my makeup box. New Year. New You.

Such a special experience and a reminder that most of the time, it’s later than you think.  New Jersey Coffee School at the Monroe Center is closing in Hoboken after a 3-year run.
