The Girls in Their Summer Dresses

Anthropologie Charlie Jade Summer Print Drawstring Dress

If you have never read the short story The Girls in Their Summer Dresses by Irwin Shaw, it’s recommended. Classic shorts.

There’s more to this Charlie Jade Anthropologie brand print dress that indicates its quality than meets the eye. This colorful print dress is lined, provides the ability to hang easily, doesn’t neglect pockets, has some cool gathering details at the décolleté and at the back. Anthropologie does that, they’re not minimalist, and they tend to add little feminine details on their clothes. You can not like this mega brand, but mostly they don’t mimic minimalism. They are not Everlane.  That’s good.

I paid $2.00 for it, and it probably originally retailed for $75 – $100. Dresses are profitable, they can get quite elaborate. This dress flipped quickly. Someone can slip it into their luggage for summer vacation without having purchased it at the original price, with more money for their vacation.
